A Paycheck Advance Honeymoon
I know that not many people believe in love at first sight anymore, but when I met William, that’s exactly what happened to us. We danced one time at a disco and before the song ended, I was sure I’d found my life partner. We courted for only four months before William asked me to marry him and of course I jumped at the chance. We didn’t have much money since he was still in university and I was new on my job at the office but that didn’t matter. We pooled what money we had and decided to have a small ceremony and a larger honeymoon in Bermuda - a place he’d always wanted to go.
We had our beautiful ceremony and took a cab to the airport without even paying for a reception (we couldn’t afford it). We and our luggage boarded the plane in Heathrow, but our luggage did not make it to Bermuda with us. After complaining to the airline we were told that it would be a few days before our luggage arrived. Well this was an awful mess! My best lingerie was in my suitcase somewhere halfway around the world along with all our clothes, toiletries and other items. We still had the money on us to pay for the excursions and fun things we wanted to do while in Bermuda, but it was either pay for those things and do them in the same clothes and underwear for days, or use some of our money to buy new clothes and supplies we needed and cut out most of our fun.

It was then that William told me about a similar situation that had happened to a friend of his and how he solved the problem with a paycheck advance. We went to our hotel room and logged in using my laptop where we found a place that connected us with a payday lender eager to help us out of our situation. They wired just the amount we asked for to our (our, I just LOVE that word!) new bank account and the next morning William and I were off shopping for new swimsuits before our scuba diving tour. Thanks to payday loans we didn’t have to suffer through any part of our honeymoon except that first night…but who needed clothes then anyway?
